Q: What is the World Administrators Alliance?

Q: What are the objectives of the WA-Alliance?

A: The aims of the WA-Alliance are to guide, develop, influence and elevate the administrative profession. With the support of Administrative Associations and Networks around the world, the WA-Alliance will build a global community to enable Administrative Professionals the world over to speak with one voice. Q: Who are the leaders of the WA-Alliance?

A: The governing body of the WA-Alliance is the Council, elected by the Members. You can find the members of the WA-Alliance Council at this link.

Q: What is the difference between the World Administrators Alliance and the World Administrators Summit?

A: The WA-Alliance is the umbrella organisation responsible for the World Administrators Summit (WAS) – a bi-annual global meeting of administrative and office professionals and their associations, committed to its purpose of guiding, influencing and positively developing the profession. Non-members may also attend the WA-Summit provided they meet criteria explained on the Delegate Credentialling page.

Q: Who can join the WA-Alliance?

A: Administrative Professionals Associations and Networks from around the World, Individual Administrative Professionals who (yet) have no Association or Network in their country, Business Members (All those affiliated to the development of the Administrative Profession, e.g. Trainers, Training Companies, Educational Institutes, Publishers, Professional Development Organizations).

Q: Can there be more than one member from the same country?

A: Yes. There is no limit to the number of Associations, Networks or Business Members joining the WA-Alliance from the same country. We encourage collaboration and cooperation between Associations, so that the voices of ALL Administrative Professionals in each country can be heard.

Q: Can I join as an individual if there is already an Association or Network in my Country.

A: No. We are a trade association representing Administrative Professionals’ Associations and Networks. We advise individuals to join an Association or Network in your country whose aims and vision speak to you. If that Association/Network becomes a member of the WA-Alliance, you can volunteer to become involved in the WA-Alliance or ask to be a Delegate at the WA-Summit.

Q: Is there a membership fee?

A: Yes, there is an annual membership fee of US$ 149,- for Associations and Business Members. Individuals as described above pay US$ 49,-. The fee is pro-rated from the month that membership starts. Renewals begin in January.

Q: Is this the only funding model for the WA-Alliance?

A: The WA-Alliance is a non-profit, voluntary organization, so the funding comes from membership fees and from sponsorship. Our Business Members can choose to be featured on our website with their logo, business description and link to their website in the Business Member Plus category for an extra US$ 99,-
